Chartreuse 1970s Yellow Voiron 70cl 40%abv

This 1970s Yellow Chartreuse was produced in Voiron by the Carthusian Fathers and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl format. Created in 1840 from the tradition of the Elixir Végétal, Yellow Chartreuse is composed of 130 plants, bark, roots, spices and flowers.

Softer and more honeyed than Green Chartreuse, its aromatic profile brings together fresh spice, turmeric, citrus, delicate anise and lingering floral notes. This historic Voiron bottling captures an earlier era of one of France’s most distinctive monastic liqueurs.
