The Clynelish 12-year-old bottled in the 1960s (75cl, 43% ABV) is an exceptionally rare, legendary single malt Scotch highly prized by whisky collectors and investors.
The "Original" Clynelish: Because it was bottled in the 1960s, the liquid inside was distilled at the original Clynelish facility. In 1967, a newer, larger distillery was built next door and assumed the Clynelish name. The original 1819 facility was subsequently renamed the Brora Distillery. Therefore, this bottle contains what is effectively pre-closure, unpeated Brora distillate.
