Distilled at Dallas Dhu on 10 June 1969, this exceptional single malt spent 50 years maturing in refill sherry hogshead cask number 1656 before being bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for its Private Collection. Bottled in 2019 at 43.1% ABV, it offers aromas of candied ginger and treacle toffee, followed by a lingering note of roasted coffee beans.

Dallas Dhu closed in 1983, making this half-century-old release an evocative record of a lost Speyside distillery. Only 176 bottles were produced from the cask.
