Encased in a hand-blown glass decanter held by a bronze sculpture of three hands — symbolizing the past, present, and future — The Reach is both a work of art and a testament to The Macallan’s legacy. Only 288 decanters were released globally, making it one of the rarest and most desirable whiskies in the world.
The spirit itself is deep auburn in color, offering complex aromas of dark chocolate, dried fruits, leather, and a subtle hint of smoke. On the palate, it is incredibly elegant — silky and rich, with layers of toffee, wood spice, and a whisper of peat, leading to a long, contemplative finish.
