It was the first in the series to be matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned European oak and ex-bourbon American oak casks, a change from the exclusively sherry-seasoned casks of previous releases. This unique combination was chosen by Whisky Maker Polly Logan to produce a full and heightened flavor, bottled at 55% ABV.
