WhistlePig's 30yo is an ultra rare 30yo single malt whiskey called The BigShəBàng, not a rye. A limited release for fall 2025, it is WhistlePig's oldest whiskey to date and the oldest known single malt produced in North America.
The whiskey was distilled in 1995 at the Glenora Distillery in Nova Scotia, Canada. It was then aged in American oak barrels for 30 years before being finished in Vin Santo dessert wine casks.
